Our Story

Like most founder stories, this one started with a frustrating experience.

Our founder was going through a tough time and decided to see a professional tarot reader. Money was tight, but she'd had powerful readings before and knew real clarity was worth it. She went in hopeful.

Unfortunately, this time the reading was awful, vague, rushed, and expensive. She left feeling worse than when she walked in, and out of pocket too.

She couldn't stop thinking about it. Why wasn't there an affordable alternative for interpreting tarot cards?

She'd grown up around the cards but still found them genuinely hard to learn. She looked for apps and tools to help but found nothing useful.

If you've ever tried to learn tarot, you know that feeling of awe followed by uncertainty. You look it up, find contradicting explanations, and an hour later you're more confused than when you started.

The dream was to fix that, to take the wisdom from the best tarot guidebooks and bring it together in one place, so instead of cross-referencing multiple sources for hours, you get a clear, grounded interpretation. Instantly.

Here's what we believe: intuition matters, a lot. But intuition needs something to stand on. Knowing what a card traditionally means doesn't replace your instincts, it informs them. You get the textbook foundation, then you bring yourself to it. That's how readings get richer. That's how you learn the cards over time, without even really trying.

Reader's Aid was created to be accessible in every sense, available whenever you need it. There are times when an in-person reading is exactly right. And times when it's not possible, and you just want a quiet moment with the cards on your own terms.

This is for those times. For the beginners, the curious, the seasoned reader who wants a second opinion. For anyone who's ever looked at a spread and thought, what does this actually mean for me?

We built this for you.
